March 29, 2008 - Atlanta, Georgia - Seminar - Togakure Ryu

The Atlanta Bujinkan Dojo presents a seminar with Senior Buinkan Instructor Roy Wilkinson. The theme for this seminar will be Togakure Ryu, one of the nine martial traditions that form the Bujinkan system. Togakure Ryu is one of the few remaining authentic ninjutsu systems in the world and, among other things, is known for escape and evasion, as well as some of the tools that the ninja are 'famous' for - shuriken (thrown or hand-held blades), shuko (claws), and metsubishi (blinding techniques). The Grandmaster has chosen Togakure Ryu as the Bujinkan's theme for 2008, and we will be working on techniques and concepts from this fascinating tradition. Training will be on Saturday, Mar 29th, at the Atlanta Dojo and will run from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm. Attendees please bring a couple of small cloths or towels and a bokken or shinai if you have one. The cost for the workshop is $40 if paid by Mar 22nd, or $50 afterwards. (Checks should be made payable to 'Roy Wilkinson' if registering by Mar 22nd. After Mar 22nd, or at the door, please pay by cash or money order only.) The mailing address to send your registration to is: Atlanta Bujinkan Dojo, P.O. Box 29163, Atlanta, Georgia, 30359. Be sure to include your name and contact information. Please RSVP & let us know if you'll be attending and if you need directions. Send an email to: seminars [at] atlantabujinkan [dot] com. See you there! .
